    Yesterday my blog-mate Kathy Allen and I were chatting about the current state of the economy, and what we would do about it if we were in charge.     The more information you have, the easier it is to solve a problem.  Unfortunately, entrepreneurs typically don't have all the information they need to define the problem they're actually trying to solve.  Defining the problem correctly is absolutely essential to coming up with a business opportunity that can succeed in the market.

    I have to say that Peter hit the nail on the head when he decided to take a vacation from the news and everything else that was being pushed at him. One of my dearest friends is a very prolific inventor.  He is Dr. Berok Khoshnevis at the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC.  He has come up with more solutions to more problems than you can imagine and he's done it by spending time alone with his thoughts.
