As I have mentioned a couple of times before, I'm a huge fan of infographics. As the U.S. economy remains on the critical list, with no quick fix in sight, it seems to me that it's probably as good a time as any to look outside the box for economic indicators that might give us some hint of the future.
I ran across the below infographic of novelty economic indicators and indexes in a recent post on the MintLife blog, a site maintained by online financial services company Mint.com. Included in this infographic is the vaunted Skinny Tie Index, the fabled Liposuction Indicator, and the ever-popular Big Mac Index.
